Evie Gardner

Evie was born and raised in Geneseo, IL in a God-fearing home. While she never doubted in the one, true God and even loved Him, it wasn’t until she and Jerry had been married for a year that they realized they needed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She and Jerry both accepted Him as Savior in 1982. They served Him together in youth ministry for many years.

In 1990, the Lord made the way for Evie to quit her job at Deere to be at home with her two sons. In 1992, she joined the sales ranks of Pampered Chef consultants where she moved into management and was with them for 15 years, but was still able to be at home with her sons.

The Lord made it very clear in 2004 that He was changing their lives up a bit. Evie attended the first service of Harvest Bible Chapel in November, and she knew that the Lord had placed them there. He had already begun to stir her heart for ministry before they came to Harvest, and she now feels very blessed to be a part of this great work of God.

Jerry and Evie have two adult sons: Jeremy and Ben.
